Android Injector review

It's easy to get intimidated by Android, as a lot of its apps and services are designed more for hard-core geeks than the everyday user. And, initially, I was intimidated by Android Injector, a desktop application that allows you to install APK files (Android apps) on your Android phone and Android tablet - until I used it, and realised just how easy it really is.

CoPilot Live HD Premium review

Apple hasn’t covered itself in glory by replacing Google Maps with its own cartography on the iPhone 5. Refinements will undoubtedly appear, but in the meantime there’s a market for a reliable offline map as well as one to help guide you to your destination using turn by turn navigation. CoPilot was quick to declare itself primed for iPhone and iOS6 use and complements rather than replaces the native Apple Maps.

The Web is a scary place. Between the advertisers looking to follow your every move, hackers eyeing your passwords, and viruses threatening to ruin your PC, it's enough to make you swear off surfing forever. AirDroid review

Today's smartphones have bigger and better screens than ever before. Angry Birds Space review

The Angry Birds franchise needs little introduction. What started as a simple physics-based game became a cultural phenomenon, replete with Angry Birds dolls, keychains, and other merchandise. Rovio has updated Angry Birds before, with the release of Angry Birds Seasons and Angry Birds Rio (a tie-in for the movie), but while those updates introduced new levels and graphics, they kept the same basic gameplay and physics. With Angry Birds Space, Rovio is trying something truly new, creating a game that feels fresh, and even addictive.

Evi review

Voice-controlled "assistants" have been a hot topic since Apple introduced Siri with the iPhone 4S. Since then, Android users have been scrambling for their own Siri, with several apps attempting to fill the void. Evi is one such app, described by its developer as a "revolutionary artificial intelligence." A bold claim to make, but in my time with Evi I found the "revolution" off to only a slow start.

As threats to mobile devices sharply increase, a good security app can make a huge difference. McAfee Mobile Security, the mobile version of McAfee's desktop software, can help protect your phone or tablet from mobile malware, phishing, and device theft.
