Travis G. said: The problem may be speaker placement If you have the woofer in a corner try moving it out of the corner some I have the same speakers and the bass doesnt seem too loud at all All room resonances terminate in the corners so putting a woofer in the corner will amplify the bass
Rick said: If you have a via audio card in windows 7 and you have the HD Audio Deck that does come with an equalizer I just set it to auto adjust sound equalizer smoothly and then up the 16k frequency to 3 quarters up and it sounds much better You get back those bright highs that are missing Other wise not a bad set of speakers
daniel tech said: Unfortunately the bass response is the only thing you hear with these speakers Logitech needs to put in an equalizer control for them they are terribly unbalanced adding to the problem Realtek took out their equalizer option on their windows 7 drivers xp driver had one i suppose the only option is to find a sound card to replace the onboard sound chip on most computers its unfortunate but we still only get partially usable systems out of the box you would think there would be better systems at reasonable price points after all the years of personal computer development
