ViciousMIUI review

If you don’t like how stock Android looks, try ViciousMIUI. It's hugely popular in China, and though I find MIUI a little too much like iOS for my taste, its popularity both abroad and here in the United States is undeniable.

Codename Android review

Generally I prefer a ROM that’s as close to vanilla Android as I can get, so plain old Codename Android was an obvious choice. It's the first ROM that I tested.

Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb review

Honeycomb is a whole different beast from the Android we've come to know. Games on Windows Phone 7 review

Despite an anemic starting library and some questionably placed, game-stopping buttons, the first generation of Windows Phone 7 devices boast some quality exclusives, not to mention Xbox Live integration. It's too early to tell, but given time and a few tweaks, Microsoft's mobile device may prove worthwhile competition to Apple's iPhone.

iOS 4.2 on iPhone 4 review

If you're an iPhone user, you'll find the just released iOS 4.2 a solid, mildly useful new system update. There's nothing earth-shaking here, and nothing as significant as the multitasking features and folders that iOS 4.2 adds to the iPad.
