The long wait for Microsoft's next operating system is nearly over as the company releases its Release to Manufacturing version. The verdict? A mixture of the good and bad, jumbled up with the unknown.
Pros:
Less of a memory hog; improved UAC; more atractive taskbar, new Libraries feature is very helpful
Cons:
No upgrade from XP; Update handling still poor; HomeGroups is ill-conceived
