G Data InternetSecurity 2013 is a relatively cheap security suite, too, comprising all the normal features: antivirus, antispyware, firewall and more. It costs just £34.95 for one PC for one year, £44.95 for three PCs and/or laptops and £79.95 for up to five computers. Two-year licences cost £64.95, £84.95 and £154.95 respectively.

A one-year licence for F-Secure Internet Security 2013 costs £42.49 for a single PC or laptop licence, £50.99 for up to three PCs and £84.99 for up to three PCs came in first in several of our malware detection, blocking, and removal tests. This security software successfully blocked attacks, detected and disabled infections, and proved adept at cleaning up all traces of malware, landing at the top of our tests' of this year's internet security suites.

A few years ago, most people would only have a couple of devices, maybe a desktop PC and laptop, that they had to protect from malware. Things have changed radically in the past three or four years and many customers for internet security software now have a Windows PC or Mac, a notebook, a tablet and a smartphone.
