HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dw review

The HP M401n is only around £180, but exchanges the 3.5in touchscreen for a basic two-line LCD. Where the M401dw and M401dn have 256MB memory and auto-duplexing, the cheaper M401n has just 128MB and manual duplexing.

Lexmark C748de review

The Lexmark C748de is among the fastest colour laser printer we've tested, and its output is second to none. The unit's 1200-by-1200-dpi print engine resolution plays a major role in achieving such high-quality prints: Photos are reminiscent of an inkjet's (a good thing), and text is both supersharp and superblack. Samsung's CLP-775ND colour laser printer has power to spare for a busy workgroup, at a midrange price. It breaks no new ground in output quality, photos are a challenge for it as they are for most colour lasers, but aside from that it's a printer well worth considering.
